No. You can use Lumidara purely for scheduling and client management. The loyalty program (points, rewards, referrals) is optional — you can turn it on any time from your dashboard settings.
Both. Starter is free forever — up to 5 clients, no credit card required. Pro gives you a 30-day free trial (card required to start, cancel any time during the trial without being charged).
If you'd like to keep Pro, your card is charged $10/month. If you'd rather not continue, you can downgrade to Starter (free) any time from your billing page — your account stays active and your data stays put.
Yes. Cancel from your billing page and Pro stays active through the end of your current billing period, then your account moves to the free Starter plan. Your data is preserved.
No. The client portal is a mobile-optimized web page. Clients access it by scanning a QR code or clicking a link — no app store, no friction.
Square integration is on our roadmap. Once connected, completed Square transactions will automatically award points — no manual check-in needed.
You choose: clients earn points per visit (e.g. 10 points each visit) or per dollar spent (e.g. 1 point per $1). You create rewards (e.g. 500 points = free blowout) and clients redeem through their portal.
Yes. We use Supabase with Row Level Security, meaning each business can only access their own data. All connections are encrypted with SSL, and we follow industry best practices for data protection.
